Describe the mode of transmission of Ascaris lumbricoides.(7marks)

Infection occur when one swallows eggs with the infective larvae;

In the alimentary canal the egg case breaks to release the larva;

Larvae penetrates intestinal wall and enter the blood stream;

They migrate to the liver then to the heart and eventually into the lungs;

 In the lungs, they moult twice and then migrate...
